Get to know us
We are simply people who decided that our common normal modern life was missing something. We sold our home in western Washington state, threw caution to the wind and bought land in rural northern Idaho. With no power available and just a well casing drilled years ago in the ground we started our journey in 2020. We have a really long way to go and our dreams are big but we have accomplished a lot and we know that the time is right to reach out and do what we can to connect with current fellow off gridders, help those trying to start and hopefully inspire and enable those not quite ready to take a crazy plunge into a new way of life. Our mission
We're on a mission to change the way off grid living is done in this new modern world we live in. There are plenty of shows, podcasts and resources already available out there but we want to connect with folks who are on a path like ours or who want to explore going on one. We want to pass on what we have learned, mistakes we have made, what we are working towards and hope to connect people who share common ideas and want to learn, grow and help each other live a more self sufficient sustainable life.

We want to live in a world where people know what it takes to make a move towards off grid living and have a support system with like minded people who can help make that happen. We want to share resources and information with you.
